Radiant Barrier Installation
# 1 Radiant Barrier Company In North Texas
Lower Attic Temperatures. Improve Comfort. Reduce Costs.
Is your upstairs always hotter than the rest of your home? Does your air conditioner seem to run constantly during the Texas summer, yet your home still struggles to stay comfortable?
The problem may not be your air conditioner—it may be your attic.
On a sunny Texas afternoon, attic temperatures can soar to 140–160°F. That intense heat radiates downward through your roof and into your attic, where it eventually makes its way into your living space. As your home absorbs more heat, your air conditioner has to work harder, run longer, and consume more electricity just to maintain the temperature you've set on your thermostat.
Most homeowners are surprised to learn that conventional attic insulation alone cannot stop this radiant heat. Fiberglass, cellulose, and other traditional insulation products are designed to slow conductive heat transfer, but they do very little to block the intense radiant heat generated by a hot roof. As attic temperatures continue to rise throughout the day, your insulation absorbs more and more heat until it becomes less effective, allowing that stored heat to migrate into your home—even after the sun goes down.
That's where professional radiant barrier installation makes the difference.
Installed along the underside of your roof rafters, a radiant barrier reflects up to 95% of radiant heat before it can enter your attic. By dramatically reducing the amount of heat entering the attic, your insulation can perform more efficiently, your attic stays significantly cooler, your air conditioner doesn't have to work as hard, and your home becomes noticeably more comfortable.
At RadiantGUARD-PRO, we've been helping North Texas homeowners improve comfort and reduce energy costs for over 20 years. Our experienced installation team uses premium commercial-grade radiant barrier materials and proven installation techniques to deliver long-lasting performance you can feel almost immediately.
Whether you're looking to lower your electric bills, extend the life of your HVAC system, or finally make those hot upstairs rooms comfortable again, we're here to help.

Frequently Asked Questions
We Install RadiantGUARD® Radiant Barrier
Using RadiantGUARD Ultima-foil radiant barrier, we staple directly to the underside of your roof rafters and on all gable walls to create a blockade between the outdoors and the inside of your attic space. With a reflectivity of 97% of the radiant heat, it offers the highest reflectivity available in the market along with a LIFETIME warranty. It is a thin double-sided pure aluminum material (about the thickness of a business card) that is strong and durable and impossible to tear with hands due to a middle fabric scrim layer. With perforations making it "breathable", our radiant barrier allows moisture-vapor to pass through it which is important in an attic space where moisture generated within the home collects and passes out of the attic space with attic ventilation.

Why RadiantGUARD is the Best Radiant Barrier Insulation
- BLOCKs 97% of the radiant heat gain and loss
- is breathable allowing moisture from home to easily pass through and out the roof
- is non-toxic, non-carcinogenic, and fiber-free
- performance is unaffected by humidity
- lowers heating and cooling costs year round
